FARMINGTON — MaineHealth Franklin Hospital is set to honor local veterans and active-duty military personnel at its annual Veterans Day Breakfast and Flag Raising Ceremony on Monday, Nov. 11.
The breakfast is set for 8-10 a.m. in the Bass Room at 111 Franklin Health Commons.
Veterans, their families, and community members are invited to join in the tribute. The morning will include a complimentary breakfast provided by MaineHealth Franklin Hospital and a welcome address by community leader and veteran advocate Tom Saviello. Saviello will deliver remarks on the importance of honoring service and sacrifice before leading attendees outside for the flag-raising ceremony.
The Veterans Flag will be raised at 9 a.m., with the American Legion Post 28 Color Guard participating.
The ceremony is open to all, and veterans of all eras are encouraged to attend.
