DEAR SUN SPOTS: Does anyone know where one can donate spray paint? The local paint stores (Lewiston or Auburn) will not take any aerosol paints.

ANSWER: If you want to dispose of the paint, take it to a hazardous waste facility or to your local waste disposal facility when they have a scheduled day for hazardous waste collection.

If you have enough paint to donate, perhaps a local artist or crafter can make use of it. If that’s the case, please give us details on what you have and how to contact you.
