The High Street Jazz Band will perform at 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 15, at Denmark Arts Center, 50 West Main St., Denmark.
The jazz band is a multiple piece band performing jazz standards from the Great American Songbook. You will hear songs from Ellington and Gershwin to the Latin rhythms of Antônio Carlos Jobim. The band is composed of many talented musicians including Paul DuBrule on piano, Tom Chandel on bass, Gary Polhemus on guitar, John Delea on congas, Claudia Keller on sax and clarinet, Scott Holden on drums and vocals, and Janet Gill on vocals. If you enjoy jazz standards you will love this band. This performance is supported by a grant from The Betterment Fund.
Tickets cost $15 supporting the Music Series and Denmark Arts Center.
