FARMINGTON — A Dixfield man was charged Wednesday for allegedly possessing methamphetamine and crack cocaine on July 30 in Washington Township.
Antone Morris, 37, was indicted on two counts of unlawful possession of scheduled drugs. A conviction on each charge could result in up to five years in prison and a fine of up to $5,000.
Franklin County Sheriff’s Office deputies went to a Weld Road residence on July 30 to conduct a bail check on another person living there.
During the search, Morris allegedly had 200 milligrams of methamphetamine and more than 2 grams of crack cocaine in his possession, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
He was released on $500 bail on Aug. 1
