DEAR SUN SPOTS: I just wanted to relay an act of kindness which occurred on Halloween night.

Over 100 trick-or-treaters visited my home, and I was running out of candy. In fact, there were only eight pieces left in my basket.

Suddenly a large group of trick-or-treaters appeared. I apologized and explained my predicament. They all emptied their bags of candy into nearly empty basket, saying, “Now you have lots of candy!”
