HARRISON — Analyze your electric bill and find out if you can save money.
Did you know that CMP offers several rate structures that emphasize different electricity usage patterns? These are not the same as “standard offer” rates vs. alternative energy sources. They have to do with how CMP charges for delivering electricity. Mike Dunn has created a slideshow explaining this, and a spreadsheet where you can analyze your own electricity usage. Input your data and see if changing your rate structure would help you save money.
These can be found on this page of the Resilient Harrison Maine website: https://sites.google.com/view/resilient-harrison-maine/local-resources “Analyze your electricity usage and maybe reduce your electric bill (For CMP customers)”
Resilient Harrison Maine is a small, community-based organization dedicated to helping our town save money by increasing climate resilience. We invite other Harrison residents and officials to join us in learning and implementing strategies to reduce our impact on, and vulnerability to, climate change. We meet at the Harrison Village Library every first and third Thursday at 8 p.m.
