BETHEL — The Middle School girls’ varsity basketball team opened its season with a game at Mountain Valley on 11-15-24. It was a close game throughout, with the visiting Rebels scoring 13 points in the fourth quarter to pull away with a ten-point victory, 31 to 21. The lady Rebels were led by their two guards, Ayva Jeselskis and Brooklyn Deprey, with 13 points apiece. Maci Kerns and Lucy DeCato each added a basket and Hanna Kerns added a free throw.
