CARRABASSETT VALLEY — The Sugarloaf Region Charitable Trust has awarded a total of $31,836 to United Way of the Tri-Valley Area.
Recipients include the Eustis’ Snack Pack Program, Rangeley Friends of the Arts, Petersen Water Skiing Foundation, Western Maine Center for Children, High Peaks Alliance and Mission at the Eastward.
The private, nonprofit trust is dedicated to improving the quality of life for the communities that make up the Sugarloaf area. It provides financial assistance to organizations with nonprofit, tax-exempt status. The goal of the assistance is to encourage the growth in existing human service and cultural organizations and to develop new organizations that will involve and improve the Sugarloaf area.
