SOUTH PORTLAND — The Finance Authority of Maine presented Norway Savings Bank with its Lender at Work for Maine Award: Most Enhanced Partnership on Nov. 21.

“Over the past year, Norway Savings Bank has increased their partnership with FAME more than any other organization in the state. NSB partnered with FAME on 16 loans to Maine companies totaling approximately $6 million, which is an increase of $2 million compared to the previous fiscal year,” Kim Getchell, senior commercial loan officer for FAME, said in a NSB news release. “This helped to create 56 Maine jobs and retain an additional 237 jobs.”
