The writing is on the wall.
“What will be our last thought?
Do you think it’s coming soon?
Will it be of comfort?
Or the pain of a burning wound?
All we are trying to say is we are all we’ve got.
You and me just cannot fail, if we never ever stop.”
The Moody Blues, in the band’s song “You and Me,” reminds us all that when love is nowhere to be found, God is truly dead. Feeling unsafe from day to day leaves everyone of us with a feeling of abandonment and a sense of betrayal, where lashing out is the only way of making our voices heard.
World War III could very well be upon us, and the sooner we collectively agree to step back, the sooner Doomsday will be avoided.
If not, then man has decided this is our time, so any voice of reason has no place in rational decisions made from now on.
“You and me” hold the keys of everlasting life. I hope we don’t let the powers that be call the shots, and be stuck in a future where God is dead and humanity is robbed of the gift of light for tomorrow and forever.
