Blake Whitaker cuts up a pine tree that was blocking his Auburn driveway Thursday, which came down during Wednesday’s storm. Despite thinning damaged trees on his property, the fallen pine, which landed squarely in the driveway, prevented access to daily obligations. “Climate change is difficult to deal with,” Whitaker said. “We are having more ice storms and heavy, wet snow events, so we are continually having to clean up branches.” Andree Kehn/Sun Journal
