Kiara Bushman, Edward Little senior: Coming off a solid showing at the KVAC championships last winter, placing fourth in the triple jump (31 feet, 4.25 inches), fifth in the long jump (15-3.50), and seventh in the 55-meter dash (7.98 seconds).
Jenni Flynn, Lewiston senior: Excelled at the Class A championships with a second-place finish in the long jump (17-0), fourth in the 55-meter hurdles (9.20) and seventh in the 55-meter dash (7.65)
Izzy Gates, Leavitt senior: Placed fifth in the pole vault (8 feet, 6 inches) at the Class B state championships for the Hornets.
Enzo Giampaolo, Lewiston junior: Finished fourth at the Class A state championships in the 1-mile run (4:35.20), eighth in the 2-mile run (10:13.75) and ninth in the 800 meters (2:05.17). Was named to the Sun Journal-All Region and Class A KVAC first teams.
Josia Katroli, Lewiston senior: Had a strong showing at the state championships last winter. Finished second in the high jump (6-6) and third in the 55-meter dash (6.55). He followed that with a school-record 6-7 high jump at the New Balance Nationals, which earned him sixth place and All-America honors.
Olivea Miller, Leavitt senior: Placed eighth in the high jump (4-8) at the Class B state meet and 16th in the triple jump (30-1.75). At the KVAC championships, she took fifth in three events: 400-meter run (1:05.13), 200-meter dash (28.53) and the high jump (4-8).
Leilani Mitchell, Edward Little senior: Earned an 11th-place showing in the high jump (4-8) at the Class A championships. At the KVAC meet, she placed third in the shot put (27-7.50) and fourth in the high jump (4-8).
Cole Ouellette, Gray-New Gloucester senior: His 40-5 mark in the shot put was ninth-best at last winter’s Class B meet. He finished eighth (37-5) at the WMC championships in the Senior Division.
Ryker Paradis, Lewiston senior: The thrower finished second in the Class A meet in the shot put (51-9) and was the KVAC Class A champion (51-10).
Stephen Pierre, Leavitt senior: Named Sun Journal Boys Athlete of the Year after winning the Class B titles in the 55-meter hurdles (7.83) and the long jump (21-0.25), and finishing second in the high jump (6-4).
