Ella Akers, Telstar senior: A fifth-place finish at MVCs earned Akers a spot on the 2023-24 Sun Journal All-Region Girls Nordic team. She also won multiple regular-season meets and is expected to lead the small Telstar team this season.

Nora Condit, Edward Little senior: Condit skied to third-place freestyle and seventh-place classical finishes at the Class A state meet last season, improving her seventh- and eighth-place showings at the KVAC championships. She was named to the Maine Eastern High School Championship Nordic team and earned a spot on the 2023-24 Sun Journal All-Region Girls Nordic team.

Jacob Dening, Leavitt senior: Dening’s best Class B state finish last winter was fourth in freestyle. He also placed eighth in classical. At KVACs, he took fourth in both classical and freestyle.

Samuel Geissinger, Spruce Mountain junior: Geissinger finished seventh at states and fifth at MVCs last season, which earned him a spot on the Sun Journal All-Region Boys Nordic team.

Jade Haylock, Leavitt senior: Haylock earned a spot on the Maine Eastern High School Championship team after finishing third in classical and seventh in pursuit at the Class B state meet. She also came in ninth in freestyle and eighth in classical at KVACs.

Maya Kellett, Mt. Blue senior: Kellett finished second to teammate Nora McCourt at the Class A and KVAC championships in both classical and freestyle. She was named to the 2023-24 Sun Journal All-Region Nordic ski team.

Henri McCourt, Mt. Blue senior: He swept the classical and freestyle races at the KVAC and Class A state championships, and was named the 2023-24 Sun Journal Boys Nordic Skier of the Year.

Nora McCourt, Mt. Blue senior: McCourt was selected as the 2023-24 Sun Journal Girls Nordic Skier of the Year after winning the classical and freestyle races at the Class A and KVAC championships.

Heather Mousseau, Leavitt senior: Mousseau finished 10th in classical and 16th in freestyle at KVACs, then took 15th in classical at the Class B championships. She was picked for the 2023-24 Sun Journal All-Region Girls Nordic team.

Damon Rucci, Leavitt junior: Rucci placed ninth in classical and 12th in freestyle at KVACs, and 14th in both races at the Class B championships, earning a spot on the 2023-24 Sun Journal All-Region Boys Nordic team.

Sam St. Germain, Winthrop sophomore: He qualified as a freshman to represent Maine at the NENSA U-16 championships last season, after finishing 22nd at the Class C championships and ninth at MVCs.
