PARIS — Oxford Hills Technical School is pleased to announce the Fourteenth Annual Oxford Hills Tech Challenge on Thursday, January 8, 2025. Tech Challenge is a showcase event in which students from 20 career and technical programs participate in skill-specific competitions and demonstrations for parents, community members, and others. Among the competitions and demonstrations are building mock-ups, movie making, vehicle diagnostics, vehicle painting, welding, pipe design, t-shirt design, PLC programming, chili and baking contest, bicycle painting, cooking contest, wood burning, excavator operation, computer troubleshooting and coding, business planning, vacation planning, product prototype and advertisement, residential house and ADU meets ADA dwelling designs, ECE Story Book, fascinator design, a crime scene forensic scenario, a poetry contest, and Allied Health demonstrations. Competitions will be held throughout the OHCHS campus. The competitions are ongoing and concurrent so members of the public are invited to visit as many different programs for as long as they are able. The event will begin at 3 p.m. and an awards/medal ceremony will be held at 6 p.m.
