Results of the second day of the St. Dom’s Christmas Classic at Norway Savings Bank Arena in Auburn.

Second round

ST. DOM’S 11, MT. ARARAT/LISBON/MORSE 8: Defenseman Riley Daigle recorded a hat trick in the Saints’ win over the Eagles.

Ben Dumais had two goals and two assists, while Colton Dionne had two goals and an assist for St. Dom’s. Rhys Levasseur contributed with a goal and two assists. Joey Adams and Deano Scalia each had a goal and an assist. Aiden Robitaille also scored.

Hayden Brown scored six goals for the Mt. Ararat co-op. Parker Crafts and Lawson Mayer also scored for the Eagles. Caleb MacDonald had three assists.

Since St. Dom’s plays Thornton Academy in a regular-season game Monday, the Saints have bowed out of the title game and Cheverus/Yarmouth will take their place against Thornton Academy. Cheverus/Yarmouth played Thursday in the tournament but due to a lack of exhibition dates available, had to sit out Friday. The Mt. Ararat co-op filled in Friday. St. Dom’s will play John Bapst in its finale.

THORNTON ACADEMY 4, JOHN BAPST 3 (OT): Trent Lesieur scored 13 seconds into overtime and the Golden Trojans beat the Crusaders.

Brennan Tabor added two goals and two assists for Thornton Academy. Jake Skillings had an assist on the winning goal, and also scored.

Nate Marrymatt, Cooper Lewis and Will Bourgeois scored for the John Bapst co-op.

CONSOLATION BRACKET

GUILFORD (Conn.) 4, EDWARD LITTLE 1: Braden Rinehart, Cade Rinehart and Kellen Rinehart notched a goal and an assist for the Grizzles in the win over the Red Eddies.

Charlie Pirri also scored for Guilford. Ethan Wilhout had two assists.

Isaac Jalbert had Edward Little’s lone tally with Breccan Albert recording the assist.

Edward Little will play West Haven (Conn.) to finish up the tournament and Guilford will play Lewiston.

WEST HAVEN 6, LEWISTON 1: Justin Sean Bruno and Thomas Porto each had a goal and an assist to lead West Haven past Lewiston.

Brady Price and Brody DiNuzzo also had a goal for West Haven.

Andrew Theriault scored in the third period for Lewiston.
