Holland

This is our sweet kitty, Holland. Holland is around 2 years old and came to us as a stray, found with several other stray cats in Woodstock. Holland often gets overlooked because she loves to sleep in her hut or under her blankets when we have visitors at our shelter.

Holland can be a little shy at first but she is such a sweet and gentle cat. She loves being petted and will purr loudly when you give her attention. She just needs a little time to transition to her new home. She likes the company of other cats and would probably do well with a calm dog.

Holland gets very curious about meeting new friends and with time, would make a wonderful companion for many. Shy cats often get overlooked, but the staff have really started to learn their personalities, and many of us have fallen in love with Holland. We hope to find her a loving home.

Responsible Pet Care of Oxford Hills is a no-kill, non-profit shelter and adoption center for cats and dogs, and the holding area for stray dogs for 12 towns in Oxford County. The shelter is located at 9 Swallow Road in Paris. Those interested in adopting a pet from RPC can visit the shelter as follows: Wednesdays and Thursdays from noon to 4 p.m.; Fridays and Saturdays from noon to 5 p.m.; Sundays from noon to 4 p.m. Most of the adoptable pets and adoption applications can be found online on the shelter’s website at www.responsiblepetcare.org.

Responsible Pet Care operates a thrift shop called Pawsibilities. It is located at 132 Waterford Road in Norway, and is open Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Donations of clean, usable household items are accepted during shop hours.
