0918hrs, Deputy Frost responded to a car vs. deer accident on the Carthage Road in Carthage. Katrina Pulk (32) of Carthage was driving a 2019 Hyundai when the collision occurred.

1443hrs, Deputy Couture investigated a trespassing complaint on Iisalo Road in Temple.

1515hrs, Deputy Elmes received a complaint of a suspicious person on the Weld Road in Phillips. This turned out to be the same elderly man that is seen frequently hitchhiking on Route 4.

1535hrs, Deputy Wacome investigated a report of an assault that occurred within the jail between inmates.

2114hrs, Deputy Elmes received a complaint of people trespassing on the complainant’s property on Birches Beach Road in Rangeley Plt. This turned out to be a false report, the caller suffers from severe dementia and frequently sees people on his porch, under his house etc.

0630hrs, Deputy Morgan received a complaint of a dead dear on the road on West Kingfield Road in Kingfield.

12/22/2024 0234hrs, Deputy Wacome responded to a business alarm at the White Elephant in Strong. This turned out to be a burglary that had occurred prior to the arrival of Deputies.

0758hrs, Deputy Morgan responded to a report of a single vehicle accident on the Rangeley Road in Avon Thomas Griswold (39) of Strong was driving a 2020 Chevy truck when he lost control and ran off the right side of the road.

0945hrs, Deputy Elmes received a 911 call at the Saddleback Base Lodge in Sandy River Plt. this was an accidental dial.

1552hrs, Deputy Elmes responded to a report of a single vehicle accident on Main Street in Sandy River Plt. Bethany Bruno (24) of Millis Mass was driving a 2024 Toyota Rav 4 southbound when she lost control on a corner on the S-turns and ran off the right side of the road. No injuries were reported, Koob’s removed the vehicle.

1655hrs, Deputy Maccione and Sgt. Sholan responded to a report of a suicidal person at a residence on the Industry Road in Industry. The man had left the residence in a rental vehicle and was located by Maccione on the New Sharon Road in Starks. The person was taken to FMH to be evaluated.

12/23/2024 1144hrs, Deputy Wacome received a 911 call at Saddleback Base Lodge in Sandy River Plt. This was an accidental dial.

0704hrs, Sgt. Couture assisted a complainant with a vehicle parked in the complainant’s driveway.

1412hrs, Deputy Wacome investigated a trespassing complaint on Parlin Hill Road in New Vineyard.

1822hrs, Deputy Maccione assisted the Corrections Staff by testing for illegal drugs that were brought into the jail.

12/24/2024 0417hrs, Deputy Frost responded to a report of a single vehicle accident on the Rangeley Road in Avon. Fadel Al-Ajam (71) of Phillips was driving a 2006 Audi southbound when he went off the road.

0642hrs, Deputy Wacome responded to a report of a single vehicle accident on the Lexington Road in Kingfield. Jose Catillo-Gonzalez (25) living in Oakland was driving a 2006 Toyota when he ran off the road. None of the three people in the car could speak English however Deputy Wacome was able to determine that they were uninjured.

0749hrs, Deputy Frost responded to a report of a single vehicle accident on Mile Hill Road in New Sharon. Jennifer Miedema (42) of Cumberland was driving a 2021 Lexus when she lost control and ran off the road.

0854hrs, Deputy Wacome responded to a report of a single vehicle accident on the Salem Road in Phillips. Ethan Moody (31) of Kingfield was driving a 2020 eastbound when he lost control and ran off the road to the right. No injuries were reported.

1138hrs, Deputy Wacome responded to a report of a vehicle off the road on Arnold Trail in Chain of Ponds Twp.

1248hrs, Deputy Frost responded to a report of a two-car accident on US rt 2 East in Wilton. Robert Boulay (31) of Jay was driving a 2024 International plow truck for DOT and was plowing the road when a 2011 GMC pickup being driven by Frank Ellsworth (67) of Farmington attempted to pass and struck the wing of the truck. No injuries were reported.

1421hrs, Deputy Frost responded to a report of a two-car accident on Lucy Knowles Road in Chesterville. Logan Comfort (20) of Smithfield was driving a 2005 Chevy pickup westbound when he crossed the centerline and collided head on with an eastbound 2012 Lincoln being driven by Kariann Woolf (39) of Lewiston. No injuries were reported. Logan Comfort was charged with Operating a Defective Vehicle and Operating with a suspended license.

1436hrs, Deputy Wacome responded to a report of a single vehicle accident on the Swan Road in New Sharon. Melissa Breger (45) of New Sharon was driving a 2024 Mazda eastbound when in an attempt to avoid a private plow truck lost control and ran off the road to the right striking a rock.

1559hrs, Deputy Brann responded to a parking lot accident at the dollar store in New Sharon.

1734hrs, Deputy Maccione responded to a report of a of individuals fighting in front of Sandy River Farm Supply in New Sharon. Investigation revealed that a crash had occurred there where one of the vehicles attempted to flee the scene. Nicholas Britten (34) of Strong was driving a 2012 Mazda eastbound when a 2004 Honda being driven south on the

Starks Road and at the intersection of the New Sharon Road by Charles Kessinger (43) of Industry failed to yield and drove out into the oncoming Mazda. As a result of the investigation, Charles Kessinger was charged with Leaving the Scene of a Motor Vehicle Accident.

1817hrs, Deputy Brann responded to a car vs. deer accident on the Carthage Road in Carthage. Roberta Gervais (64) of Carthage was driving a 2019 Toyota when the collision occurred.

12/25/2024 0846hrs, Sgt. Sholan received a request for a welfare check to be conducted at a residence on the Vienna Road in Chesterville. The person to be checked did not want contact with the complainant.

1157hrs, Deputy Frost responded to a report of a two-vehicle accident on Mile Hill Road in New Sharon. Donna Wells (65) of Chesterville was driving 2018 Toyota Rav 4 northbound when she slowed down to turn left into a driveway when her vehicle was struck by a 2001 Toyota Camry which had been following from behind and being driven by Robert Bradley (81) of Farmington. No injuries were reported.

1227hrs, Deputy Frost responded to a residence on Route 2 in Wilton regarding a person in mental health crises. The person was voluntarily transported to FMH for an evaluation.

1623hrs, Deputy Maccione responded to a report of a single vehicle accident on the Rangeley Road in Coplin Plt. Bredan Clancy (24) of South Lyon MI was driving a 2021 Volkswagen westbound when he went off the road. No injuries were reported.

2010hrs, Deputy Brann received a 911 call at a residence on Varnum Pond Road in Temple. This was an accidental dial.

12/26/2024 0357hrs, Deputy Frost responded to a report of a vehicle off the road on the Rangeley Road in Avon. No damage was reported.

0813hrs, Deputy Morgan responded to the Base Lodge at Saddleback Mountain at their request regarding an employee issue.

1115hrs, Deputy Frost and Deputy Maccione conducted a bail check at a residence on Main Street in Wilton. As a result of the investigation Lisa Miniutti (50) of Wilton was arrested for Unlawful Trafficking of Drugs Class B, Violating Conditions of Release Class E and Unlawful Possession of Drugs. Class D. She was transported to jail.

1338hrs, Deputy Maccione received a 911 call at a residence on the Pillsbury Road in Strong. This was an accidental dial by a child.

1955hrs, Sgt. Close responded to a disturbance call at a residence on Parlin Road in Phillips. No charges were filed.

2017hrs, Sgt. Close responded to a business alarm at Douin’s Market in New Sharon. This was a false alarm.

1242hrs, Deputy Frost responded to a report of a business alarm at the Saddleback Ridge Wind Project in Carthage. This was a false alarm.

1319hrs, Deputy Frost investigated a theft of a package left by Fed Ex at a residence on Stewart Drive in Strong.

1430hrs, Deputy Frost received a 911 call at a residence on the Hovey Road in New Sharon. This was a child playing on the phone.

1513hrs, Sgt. Couture responded to a report of a business alarm at the Saddleback Ridge Wind Project in Carthage. This was a second false alarm.

1750hrs, Deputy Gray responded to a report of a single vehicle accident on Lucy Knowles Road in Chesterville. Caleb Hall (30) of Dixfield was driving a 2014 Nissan east bound when he drove off the road to the right into the woods. No injury was reported.

2058hrs, Deputy Elmes responded to a domestic disturbance on Poland Spring Drive in Kingfield. The incident was between a man and wife in a tractor trailer arguing while inside of their truck on the access road. As a result of the investigation Cierra Bond (33) of Kingston NY was arrested for Domestic Violence Assault and transported to jail.

2335hrs, Deputy Brann responded to a report of a domestic disturbance on Park Street in Phillips. This turned out to be an argument between siblings who were both under the influence. No charges were filed.
