HARRISON — Norway Savings Bank was pleased to present the Harrison Food Bank with a $2,000 donation this week to assist the organization in its preparations for the holiday season (picture, caption below).
The Harrison Food Bank, which is located on 176 Waterford Road, is open each Tuesday from noon to 6 p.m., with the food bank closing early at 3 p.m. on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve only.
The organization believes that access to nutritious food is a basic human right and is committed to responding to the needs of the community while valuing respect, compassion, and the dignity of each person it serves.
