HERMON — The 52nd annual Dysart’s Snowmobile Ride-In Weekend is set for Saturday, Feb. 1, at Dysart’s on Coldbrook Road.
The event raises money for Pine Tree Camp and its mission to serve Maine people with disabilities. This year marks the camp’s 80th anniversary.
At the ride-in, celebrity egg riders stuff raw eggs in their snowmobile suits before hitting the trail. Each egg represents a $50 pledge by supporters who want to see their favorite rider get covered in the eggs and raise the most money.
This year’s riders include Maine Cabin Masters Jedi and Dixie, local social media personalities, Hermon Fire Chief Cody Sullivan; Penobscot County Sheriff Troy Morton, and Major Marcel Fortier and First Sergeant Rob Jenkins from Hermon High School’s JROTC.

The weekend runs Thursday, Jan. 30, through Sunday, Feb. 2. The weekend begins with a spaghetti supper, WABI-TV5 telethon, a charity auction hosted by Maine Cabin Masters Jedi and Dixie, a poker run and, on the final day, a radar run hosted by the Penobscot Snowmobile Club.
The poker run, open to the public, follows the Celebrity Egg Ride route, allowing sledders to join the parade.
