BUCKFIELD — Telstar won a double-overtime thriller against Buckfield, 65-63, in a Class D South boys basketball contest Monday.
Brody Morgan made 9 of 10 free throws, including 4 of 5 after regulation, and finished with a game-high 26 points for the Rebels (6-2). Reiley Hedden contributed 11 points, while Connor Deprey, Cooper Morgan and Jonny Marshall each scored eight in the win.
The Bucks rallied back from an 11-point deficit in the fourth quarter to force overtime. Trenton Haskell led the comeback by scoring 16 of his 23 points in the fourth. Krosby Harvey scored 10 of his 19 points in the overtime periods, and Gaven Parsons chipped in 12 points for Buckfield.
