LISBON — Taylor Varney’s double-double led the St. Dominic Academy boys basketball team to a 73-44 win over Lisbon on Tuesday.
Varney scored a game-high 19 points and dished out 10 assists. Mason LaFlamme added 18 points and Jonathan Tangilamesu had 10 for the Saints (8-1).
Owen Hurd was the Greyhounds’ (1-8) top scorer with 10 points. Maleek Beauimer and Aiden Fortin each had six points.
BUCKFIELD 115, NORTH HAVEN 13: Eight players scored at least nine points for the Bucks (5-6) in a win over the Hawks (0-6) in Buckfield.
Trenton Haskell led the hosts with 20 points. Krosby Harvey had 18, Nolan Litchfield scored 16, and Ryder Bragg and Austin Verrill each finished with 12.
Ezra Davisson scored 12 points for North Haven.
CARRABEC 81, RANGELEY 32: Pete Vicneire scored 20 points, including five 3-pointers, as the Cobras earned a win in Rangeley.
Desmond Robinson (17 points), Jackson Newton (12) and Logan Caldwell (11) also scored in double figures for Carrabec (6-2).
Kaysyn Woike scored 11 points for Rangeley (1-7).
MEDOMAK VALLEY 71, LEAVITT 31: Gabe Lash scored 20 points, including 10 from the free-throw line, and the Panthers (9-0) beat the Hornets (4-5) in Turner.
Mason Nguyen added 13 points and Rocco DePasty had 12 for Medomak Valley.
Colin Schlobohm scored 12 points for Leavitt.
THORNTON 52, EDWARD LITTLE 46: Wyatt Benoit scored 11 of his 28 points in the fourth quarter as the Golden Trojans (6-2) held off the Red Eddies (6-4) in Saco.
De’Shaun Alston added 10 points, including three 3-pointers.
Diing Maiwen scored 19 points and Akol Maiwen had 10 for Edward Little.
GREELY 50, GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 37: Andrew Padgett scored 14 points, Kade Ippolito and Ethan Michaud each added 12, and the Rangers (6-3) opened with a 22-10 first-quarter advantage to take control against the Patriots (2-9) in Cumberland.
Ippolito tallied eight points and Padgett made two 3-pointers in the first quarter.
John Patenaude led the Patriots with 12 points, followed by Kaleb D’Andrea with 11.
GIRLS BASKETBALL
BUCKFIELD 55, NORTH HAVEN 25: Chloee Bennett’s 14 points paced the Bucks (9-1) past the Hawks (0-6) in Buckfield.
Sarae Devoe made three 3-pointers and scored 13 points, and Kianna Finnegan finished with nine for Buckfield.
Maddie Lattimer and Elsie Mann led North Haven with eight points apiece.
OXFORD HILLS 51, LEWISTON 41: Ella Pelletier poured in 37 points to lead the Vikings (8-2) over the Blue Devils (1-9) in Lewiston.
Pelletier scored 14 of her points in the second quarter, when Oxford Hills outscored Lewiston 22-9 and turned an 11-9 lead into a 33-18 advantage. Maddy Herrick added seven points for the Vikings, who were without second-leading scorer Gabbie Tibbetts.
Bailey Tardif-Mockler and Ella Beaudoin each made four 3-pointers for Lewiston. Tardif-Mockler finished with 18 points and Beaudoin had 16.
ST. DOMINIC 66, LISBON 15: Charlie Apodaca scored 20 points, Juju Farrington and Piper Croteau each had 16, and the Saints (5-4) cruised past the Greyhounds (0-8) in Lisbon.
Hannah Perron had six points for Lisbon.
WINTHROP 67, BOOTHBAY 19: Ella Rice scored 18 points as the Ramblers (6-3) beat the Seahawks (2-6) in Winthrop.
Kylee Mansir and Madeline Wagner each added 11 points.
Tatum French had eight points for Boothbay.
GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 46, GREELY 18: Izzy Morelli scored 15 points, and the Patriots (10-2) rode their defense to a comfortable win over the Rangers (4-4) in Gray.
Hannah Hussey led Greely with seven points.
MADISON 47, MONMOUTH ACADEMY 29: Mackenzie Robbins scored 13 points as the Bulldogs prevailed in Monmouth.
Raegan Cowan added 11 points for Madison (5-3).
Kaitlyn Frost had 12 points and seven rebounds for Monmouth Academy (4-5)
