We are returning to shine the spotlight on our diabetic kitty, Belle. We shared the story a while back about Nathan and Belle, and since then Nathan has found a wonderful forever home, and Belle is still waiting. Belle and her sister were surrendered to our shelter when her owner had to move and couldn’t take them along. Their owner was heartbroken and devastated but knew we would find them a loving new home. Since their arrival, her sister has found a new and forever home but Belle has had some obstacles get in her way. A little bit about Belle, she loves being around humans. She’ll follow you wherever you go and will come running to you when you call her. She also loves to be held. Belle likes to talk…or at least she thinks she likes to. Whenever she meows, not a single sound comes out. She enjoys her wet food and treats and loves to take long naps under her blankets. Unfortunately, Belle would prefer a home without dogs. But since she’s lived with another cat before, we don’t think she’ll mind living with other cats.
Back in October, a wonderful human paid for Belle’s adoption fee in hopes of finding her a wonderful new home. We know there is someone out there who would instantly fall in love with Belle and give her the life and care she deserves. If you’re interested in learning more about the kind of care Belle needs, please call us to chat more about her. She will make the most wonderful addition to anyone’s home.
