Nick Jamo put up 29 points while playing only three quarters as the Poland boys basketball team routed Sacopee Valley 90-34 on Thursday in Poland.

Twenty-one of Jamo’s points came on seven 3-pointers.

The Knights (6-2) broke the game open in the second quarter with a 27-14 advantage to build a 39-23 lead, then outscored Sacopee 31-6 in the third quarter.

Lucas Verrill added 14 points and Damon Martin had 13 for Poland. Twelve players contributed at least one basket.

Silas Nielsen led Sacopee with 12 points.

ST. DOMINIC 58, TRAIP 49: Taylor Varney paced the Saints (9-1) with 18 points in a win over the Rangers (4-7) in Kittery.

Isaac Yombe had 17 points and Jonathan Tangilamesu chipped in 13.

Jack Downs led Traip with 24 points. Phin Fifield had 11.

YARMOUTH 67, GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 51: Evan Oranellas and Ian Lawrence both scored 22 points as the Clippers (6-3) beat the Patriots (2-10) in Gray.

Colby Mitchell tallied 16 points and John Pateneaude had 13 for Gray-New Gloucester.

GIRLS BASKETBALL
MADISON 43, MOUNTAIN VALLEY 39: Mackenzie Robbins led the Bulldogs (6-3) with 17 points in their win over the Falcons (4-5) in Rumford.

Reagan Cowan finished with 12 points for Madison.

Layce Boucher had 11 points for Mountain Valley, and Madison Dow scored 10.

MONMOUTH 83, LISBON 6: Kaitlyn Frost scored 23 points and added five assists as the Mustangs won in Monmouth.

Eliza Armandi contributed 10 points for Monmouth (5-5).

Elizabeth Ferero, Natalie Bichrest and Delaney McGrath each scored two points for the Greyhounds (0-9).

OCEANSIDE 61, LEAVITT 39: Aubrianna Hoose put up 27 points to lead the Mariners (7-2) past the Hornets (6-3) in Turner.

Renee Ripley added 15 points for Oceanside, which outscored Leavitt 22-6 in the second quarter to take a 34-19 lead into halftime.

Jordyn Boulay led the Hornets with 12 points, and Caitlyn McCoy had eight.

POLAND 47, SACOPEE VALLEY 27: Charlotte Grenier scored 13 points, and the Knights (7-1) used a 20-2 spurt in the third quarter to secure a win over the Hawks (2-9) in Hiram.

Sacopee got 12 points from Bridget Landry.

WINTHROP 46, MT. ABRAM 38: Ella Rice made 12 of 15 free throws and scored 17 points to lead the Ramblers past the Roadrunners in Salem Township

Kylee Mansir added 12 points for Winthrop (7-3).

Kharlie Turner had 12 points for Mt. Abram (5-5).

SPRUCE MOUNTAIN 64, OAK HILL 35: Avery Bessey hit four 3-pointers and scored 24 points in the Phoenix’s (9-1) victory over the Raiders (2-9) in Jay.

Maddie Grimaldi chipped in 12 points and Riley Small had 10 points for Spruce Mountain, which outscored the Raiders 23-2 in the first quarter.

Kendall Theriault finished with nine points for Oak Hill.

DIRIGO 55, BOOTHBAY 32: Abby Luczynski scored 17 points and grabbed nine rebounds to pace the Cougars past the Seahawks in Dixifield.

Madisyn Bradeen contributed 14 points and six rebounds for Dirigo (7-4), while Emily Woods had eight points, six rebounds and five assists, and Aleiah Ward pulled down 13 rebounds.

Tatum French scored 28 of Boothbay’s (2-7) 32 points.

EDWARD LITTLE 4, PORTLAND/SOUTH PORTLAND/DEERING/WAYNFLETE 0: Isaac Jalbert and Breccan Albert each scored twice and Andrew Clements assisted on all four goals, leading the Red Eddies (2-5) past (2-6) Portland/South Portland/Deering/Waynflete at Troubh Ice Arena in Portland.

Albert also had an assist, as did Nolan Heath.
