RUMFORD – Judith Fyrberg, 92, passed away on Dec. 28, 2024, at the Rumford Community Home.
Judith was born in Rowley, Mass. on July 7, 1932, and was a daughter of Philip and Thelma Kent. She was a licensed practical nurse and worked many years at the Rumford Community Hospital and also did private duty nursing. She was also an avid fly tier for L.L.Bean and Orvis.
Judith was married to Roland C. Fyrberg who died March 29, 1996, and together they built their home on the East Andover Road in East Andover and raised their family there.
Survivors include her daughter, Heidi Bean and husband Michael of Milton Township; lots of loving grandchildren; and great-grandchildren; a daughter-in-law, Lana Fyrberg.
She was predeceased by three sons, Glenn Robin in August of 2006, Steven Joel in August of 2017 and Clay Fyrberg in September of 2002.
The family would like to thank the staff at the Rumford Community Home for their love and kindness shown to Judith.
