At this week’s meeting of the Rotary Club of Bethel, Club President Richard Tummon, left, presents a significant donation to Dave Bean, the executive director of the Bethel Area District Exchange and Food Pantry, to cover the cost of an emergency generator. The funding for the donation came from the proceeds of the Monahan Fund. Jim Monahan was a member of our Rotary Club until his death in 2013 and, as part of his estate planning, he left funds to Rotary to invest in projects that are deemed important to the community. The plaque will be displayed in the entryway of the Food Pantry. Submitted
