ANSWER: I’m picturing a cozy, convivial time where everyone is well-fed and enjoying spending time with friends, old and new. Please support this church’s fundraising efforts if you can.
DEAR SUN SPOTS: This is in response to the Sun Spotter in Lisbon (Jan. 10 Sun Spots) who is looking for recommendations on Rinnai heaters. I have been heating my house with a Rinnai monitor heater since I purchased my home in 2000 and I love it.
My house was built with electric heat but the prior owner had a Rinnai heater installed and that is all we use. We have a small, open concept home and the Rinnai heats the main floor (kitchen, dining room, living room and bath). Ours is fueled by propane but natural gas models are also available.
I had the Rinnai for over 25 years with little maintenance. In 2023 I purchased a newer model which was installed by Dead River Company. This also was the company that serviced the older model. I hope this helps. — No name, no town
ANSWER: Thank you for taking the time to write that awesome recommendation. Sun Spotters who help to plump up the Rolodex are highly valued and appreciated. With the cold winter here, I’m sure there are other readers in the process of upgrading or changing out their heating systems. Let’s hear from you!
