Ella Beaudoin poured in 20 points to lead Lewiston to a 40-28 girls basketball victory over Bonny Eagle on Friday in Lewiston.

Bailey Tardif-Mockler made two 3-pointers and added 10 points to the Blue Devils’ (3-13) victory.

Sophia Gaudiano led the Scots (1-15) with seven points, including a pair of treys.

SPRUCE MOUNTAIN 48, MOUNTAIN VALLEY 26: Maddie Grimaldi made three 3-pointers in the third quarter as the Phoenix (16-1) broke open a close game with a 17-4 run against the Falcons (9-8) in Rumford.

Grimaldi scored 17 of her 21 points in the second half as Spruce Mountain pulled away after leading 15-13 at halftime.

Ali Mazza led Mountain Valley with 12 points.

BANGOR 53, EDWARD LITTLE 51: The Rams (11-5) finished strong to take down the Red Eddies (10-6) in a key Class AA North matchup in Auburn.

Avery Clark hit a pair of 3-pointers and made seven free throws to finish with 21 points for Bangor, which outscored Edward Little 19-12 in the fourth quarter. Ayzlynn Gifford added nine points and Delany Horr had eight for the Rams.

Layla Facchiano put up 18 points for Edward Little. Rachel Penny scored 14 points, highlighted by three 3s.

The Red Eddies, who beat Bangor 50-44 on Dec. 30, and the Rams are battling with Windham for third place in AA North. Friday’s win moves Bangor to fourth and Edward Little to fifth.

ISLESBORO 29, TELSTAR 16: Alma Bewsher scored 16 points to lead the Eagles (8-6) past the Rebels (2-14) in Bethel.

Viv Charette, Emma McPherson and Addy Kimball each had four points for the Rebels.

BOOTHBAY 31, OAK HILL 30: Tatum French scored seven of her game-high 19 points in the fourth quarter as the Seahawks overcame the Raiders to win in Wales.

Maddie Orchard added eight points for Boothbay (4-13), which trailed 24-21 heading into the final period.

Mackenzie Wardwell led Oak Hill (3-15) with nine points, while Kendall Theriault hit two 3-pointers and had eight points.

MARANACOOK 40, MONMOUTH 22: Celia Bergdahl scored 21 points as the Black Bears won in Monmouth.

Cooper Davis contributed six points for Maranacook (9-7).

Kaitlyn Frost led the Mustangs (10-7) with eight points.

MADISON 56, MT. ABRAM 30: Liz Kelly and Mackenzie Robbins led the Bulldogs (12-5) past the Roadrunners (8-9) in Salem Township.

Kelley made three 3-pointers and shot 4 of 6 from the finish line as part of her game-high 19 points. Robbins also sank three 3s and made all four of her free-throw attempts and finished with 17 points.

Abby McCarty led Mt. Abram with eight points, while Jany Pepin and Jenna Osgood added six apiece.

BOYS BASKETBALL

EDWARD LITTLE 66, BANGOR 42: Owen Galway and Christian Rodriguez fueled a 20-8 first quarter with six points apiece, starting the Red Eddies (10-6) on their way to a win over the Rams (1-15) in Auburn.

Galway finished with 17 points, Diing Maiwen added 15 and Akol Maiwen scored 10. Rodriguez hit two 3-pointers and finished with six points.

Liam Vigue led Bangor with eight points.

PORTLAND 62, OXFORD HILLS 42: Lucas Legage and Maddox Meas helped the Bulldogs (8-8) pull ahead in the second quarter on their way to a victory over the Vikings (7-9) in Portland.

Legage scored seven points and Meas had six as Portland outscored Oxford Hills 15-4 in the second to take a 25-18 lead into halftime.

Cordell Jones scored 13 of his game-high 15 points in the second half as Portland built upon its lead. Meas finished with 12 points, Legage 11 and Loic Ramazani had 10 for the Bulldogs.

Cam Pulkkinen led Oxford Hills with 13 points, while Brady Delamater scored 12.

TELSTAR 69, ISLESBORO 19: Brody Morgan paced the Rebels (12-4) with 18 points in a win over the Eagles (5-9) at Bethel.

Jonny Marshall added 14 points and Reiley Hedden had 11. Telstar led 23-0 after one quarter and 39-2 at halftime.

Finley Conover led Islesboro with eight points.

BONNY EAGLE 54, LEWISTON 42: Max Bouchard paced a balanced offense with 12 points and added 10 rebounds, leading the Scots (6-11) past the Blue Devils (8-8) in Standish.

Brody Taylor got eight of his 11 points in the fourth quarter and Colin Moran was 6 for 6 from the free-throw line in the final eight minutes, helping Bonny Eagle secure the win.

Lewiston got 18 points from Abdirahman Dakane, including four 3-pointers. Lonnie Thomas added 13 points.

UNIFIED BASKETBALL

POLAND 47, LEWISTON 44: Johnny Bisbee’s game-winning 3-pointer capped the Knights’ second-half rally to beat the Blue Devils in Poland.

Dalton Aponte’s 14 points led Poland, which trailed 30-16 at halftime but outscored Lewiston 31-14 in the second half. Jacob Fogg added 10 points and Tatiana Salley had six for the Knights.

Robert Shaker and Dylan Pomerleau scored six points apiece for the Blue Devils, and Aden Mohamed contributed five points.
