LEWISTON — Androscoggin Bank recently contributed $50,000 to the Trinity Jubilee Center, a Lewiston-based nonprofit organization that offers food, diapers, groceries, job assistance, medical care and a day shelter.
This gift will aid Trinity in the expansion of its new facility.
In December, the center broke ground on its new facility at 123 Bates St. With the construction of the new building, the center will be able to expand its services to help those experiencing homelessness, hunger and other challenges. The improved facility includes an expanded floor plan, a dedicated doctor’s office and waiting room, rooms for mental health and substance misuse services, and a shower, washer and dryer.
The capital campaign has raised about 92% of the $5.13 million budget to date.
