
LEWISTON — Singer-songwriter Michael Krapovicky plans to perform at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 12 at the Oasis of Music, held at Trinity Commons, 247 Bates St.
Krapovicky is a multi-instrumentalist, member of multiple touring bands, recording engineer, mastering technician and producer who has released albums “Lowlife” and “Songs I Lied About.”
He’s been featured for his original music on radio and television programs, and he’s played in bands that opened for Little Feat, The Little Memphis Blues Orchestra, Denny Breau, and many well known Maine-based musicians. He is a member of The Grumps and The Smith Collaboration as a bassist.
The Oasis of Music is a weekly music series of performances of roughly 30 minutes, running from September to May. Admission is free, with donations accepted. The musical genres vary greatly, in largely acoustic formats.
