AUBURN — A Lewiston man arrested in December after fleeing the scene of an accident to evade police for an incident earlier that day was indicted by an Androscoggin County Superior Court grand jury on Monday.
Eric Ouellette, 45, was indicted on seven charges including domestic violence criminal threatening with a dangerous weapon, operating after revocation, threatening display of a weapon, domestic violence terrorizing, violating a condition of release, falsifying physical evidence and driving to endanger.
Police said several hours after a domestic incident Dec. 7, Ouellette crashed his 2007 GMC Yukon near the Old Greene and No Name Pond roads intersection.
Ouellette freed himself and his dog from the wreck and fled into the woods. He was later found and arrested.
Ouellette is being held at Androscoggin County Jail in Auburn on $3,000 cash bail.
