AUBURN — YMCA of Auburn-Lewiston has received $59,136 worth of hot spots and service from UScellular to help students connect to the internet.
The donation was part of $403,000 UScellular donated to seven statewide nonprofits as part of its After School Access Project.
“Reliable connectivity is more essential than ever, and we are committed to investing in our communities to ensure families and businesses are connected wherever they are,” Joel Parlin, area sales manager for UScellular in Maine, said in a news release. “By upgrading infrastructure and supporting local organizations, we are fulfilling our mission of connecting people to what matters most.”
