LEWISTON — Singer-songwriter and guitarist Jim Gallant is set to return to the Oasis of Music at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 26, at Trinity Commons, 247 Bates St.

He will perform a mix of originals (some from his new CD) and covers, both songs and instrumentals.
Whether he’s finger picking a Celtic jig, a New Age instrumental, or singing a delta blues song, Gallant’s distinctive style has won him accolades. His compositions have brought him awards and high honors throughout the country, according to a news release from Greg Boardman with Oasis of Music.
Gallant has shared the stage with artists like Doc Watson, Taj Mahal, Livingston Taylor, Jessie Colin Young, Dave Von Ronk, Mark Collie, The New Grass Revival, The Shaw Brothers and Bill Staines.
Admission is free, with donations accepted.
