FARMINGTON — Lorna Niedner, senior vice president, director of residential and consumer lending, is retiring after 38 years with Franklin Savings Bank.
She began as a bank teller and receptionist, and has served as Jay branch manager for 13 years.
“The banking industry has changed in so many ways, from technology to regulations, but the one constant has always been the importance of relationships,” Niedner said in a news release from the bank.
Niedner also served on the board of the United Way of the Tri-Valley Area. She taught Credit for Kids and worked with Jobs for Maine’s Graduates in the Jay and Livermore areas.
