I am really enjoying the new reality TV program where Donald Trump is cast as president of the United States. Here are a few of my favorite episodes.
In one episode Trump and his crack White House team crippled essential programs that millions of Americans depend on by defunding them with no notice. Hilariously, they then had to hustle and restore that funding because so many Americans raised a fuss. Now that’s entertainment.
Another of my favorites is the episode where he attacks trans students in public schools by ending programs designed to promote tolerance and discourage other students from bullying them, claiming these programs were “indoctrination.” This validation of and support for bullies was hard to watch, but I couldn’t look away.
Speaking of bullying, I can’t overlook the episode where he bullied Canada and Mexico into ending the drug abuse problem in the U.S.A. If you can’t bully your friends, who can you bully?
In the last episode I hear he dissolves Congress and sends everyone home saying, “We don’t need you anymore. I’ve got this.”
I don’t know about other people, but I can’t wait for season two.
