The Hilton Garden Inn Riverwatch in Auburn is undergoing significant renovations. A permit filed with the city puts the construction costs at $1.25 million and states it’s for renovation of guest rooms and public spaces.

Built in 2003, the six-story hotel was last renovated in 2014, according to Travel Weekly. It is listed as having 138 guest rooms, a restaurant, 4,600 square feet of flex space and four meeting rooms, in addition to an indoor pool and a fitness room.

A brief note on the hotel’s website says renovations will last from December to May but offers no other details.

Calls to the hotel’s general manager seeking more information were not returned.
