Liam Ross had two goals and two assists, Milan Angyalfi stopped 21 shots, and fourth-seeded Kents Hill shut out fifth-seeded Bangor/Narraguagus, 6-0, in a Class A boys’ hockey quarterfinal Saturday in Readfield.
Mathis Moreau added a goal and three assists, Alex Wang had a goal and two assists, and Antoine Morin and Alex Gadbois also scored for Kents Hill (11-7-1), which erupted for four goals in the second period.
Cody McCue made 28 saves for the Rams (10-9).
THORNTON ACADEMY 11, WINDHAM 0: Trent Lesieur had three goals and an assist, Jake Skillings tallied a goal and five assists, and the third-seeded Trojans (15-2-1) defeated sixth-seeded Windham/Westbrook/Bonny Eagle (10-8) in a Class A quarterfinal at Biddeford Ice Arena.
Cam Cyr and Gavin Corson each added two goals and an assist, and Gavin Pellerin, Owen Dorsey and Riho Kim also scored as Thornton advanced to the semifinals Tuesday against defending state champion Lewiston.
