Rosie

Rosie is a 4-year-old Staffordshire Terrier mix. She weighs around 38 pounds and is fully vaccinated and spayed. Rosie came to us as a stray and is looking for her forever home. She is house-trained and loves her blankets and toys. Rosie loves to play in our play yards and walks very well on a leash. She enjoys a good snuggle as well.

We have a feeling Rosie’s past has been a little rough because she is a nervous Nelly meeting new friends. We believe it can be hard for her to trust humans, but we have made it our goal to prove to her that we are safe. Rosie has been dog selective here at the shelter and would probably do best as the only pet in the home, she does not do well with cats.

Once Rosie has earned your trust (with lots of treats) is when her dancing tricks come into play. She sure does love to show off her skills. We hope someone will look past Rosie’s shyness and will be willing to work on earning her trust so they’ll have a snuggler and a dancing queen for life. “Alexa, play Dancing Queen by ABBA.”
