The proof is in the pudding: Democrats don’t really care about women’s rights … because if they did, they would not be supporting biological males in female sports.
The Democrats, who can be quoted as saying “trust the science” during the pandemic, will not admit that real science (that which can be tested and proved) confronts this issue, and not to the favor of those who support biological males competing in female sports. It is a scientific fact that biological males and biological females have different physiological abilities, and this is why Maine girls are feeling cheated and unprotected by adults whose duty is to protect the young.
By allowing this, we are not only robbing from girls, but also irresponsibly putting them in situations our daughters and granddaughters should not have to face. In addition to the fact that biological boys dominate over girls in sports, have Democrats thought about biological males changing in girls’ locker rooms and showering with them? This is highly inappropriate and foolish of us to allow.
Where will the line be drawn? Simply put, it is poor adult leadership.
In addition, Gov. Janet Mills is punishing whistleblower Rep. Laurel Libby, for doing what any decent adult should be doing — protecting Maine’s girls.
Whatever happened to morals, truth and sanity? I hope people join me in supporting Laurel Libby, and freedom of speech and press.

We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
For those stories that we do enable discussion, our system may hold up comments pending the approval of a moderator for several reasons, including possible violation of our guidelines. As the Maine Trust’s digital team reviews these comments, we ask for patience.
Comments are managed by our staff during regular business hours Monday through Friday and limited hours on Saturday and Sunday. Comments held for moderation outside of those hours may take longer to approve.
