I ask those who voted for Donald Trump, is this what they voted for? Correct me if I am wrong, but most people I know voted for lower cost for food, housing and fuel.

Trump does not have a clue how a government works. That also goes for Elon Musk and J.D. Vance. Trump’s mostly illegal executive orders and the illegal Department of Government Efficiency moves have gutted all sorts of programs. I agree that if there is waste and fraud in any part of the government, we need to solve those issues, but their approach is doing more harm than good.

The government is not a business and cannot be run like one. Congress is the entity that passes laws and determines how to spend money to implement the laws.

Trump and company are defying the norms of our great nation. He has used tariffs that he does not understand and will raise prices on everything we purchase.

Trump went against a trade agreement he signed with Canada and Mexico in 2017, which he billed as the best trade agreement ever. Now he started a trade war with Canada and Mexico that will destroy our economy and our relationship with our closest allies and friends.

He has now gone against Ukraine and is aligned with the murderous dictator Vladimir Putin. He is well on his way to an autocratic/dictator-type government.

If we do not stop this insanity, we will not have a country for us, our children and our grandchildren.
