The childish antics of the Democrats during President Trump’s speech last week reminded me of something.
In 1995 there was a movie titled “The American President.” The title role was played admirably by Michael Douglas, and at the end of the movie he gave a speech in which he twice stated this phrase: “We have serious problems, and we need serious people to solve them.”
Given the Democrats’ behavior last Tuesday it seems, sadly, that right now they are not even capable of acting like adults, much less serious people.
I close by stating again: “We have serious problems, and we need serious people to solve them.”
