AUBURN — Police arrested a juvenile earlier this month on charges related to a December shooting, according to an Auburn Police Department Facebook post on Wednesday.
Auburn Police detectives issued a warrant for a 15-year-old male on two counts of reckless conduct with a dangerous weapon and three counts of criminal threatening with a dangerous weapon.
Two other arrest warrants had been issued.
Auburn police located and arrested the boy on March 19.
He was transferred to Long Creek Youth Development Center in South Portland.
On Dec. 14, Auburn police were called to the Main Street area for a report of shots fired. Witnesses reported seeing a group of teenagers with a firearm and that shots had been fired.
Officers responding to the scene found shell casings and damage to a nearby building.
No injuries were reported, and the group of teens had fled the area before police arrival, according to Auburn police.
