NORWAY — The Center for an Ecology-Based Economy (CEBE) invites community members to a Community Celebration & Open House on Tuesday, April 22, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., at 447 Main Street in Norway.
This special gathering will celebrate CEBE’s 12th anniversary and Earth Day, bringing together neighbors, friends, and volunteers for an evening of food, conversation, and climate action. Attendees will have the chance to share a community meal, connect with others, and explore ways to get involved through a volunteer fair.
If you’ve been interested in getting involved with CEBE but haven’t found the right time, this is a great opportunity to meet other CEBE volunteers and staff, learn about ongoing projects, and find your place in the movement.
The event will begin at 5:30 p.m. with food and conversation, followed by a volunteer award ceremony and fair at 6:30 p.m.
Registration is encouraged, but walk-ins are welcome. For more information or to RSVP, visit https://www.ecologybasedeconomy.org/events

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
