DEAR SUN SPOTS: The Hartford Heritage Society is having its annual plant sale from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the J & O Irish Museum on Main Street/Route 140 in Hartford.

All perennials are $3 each. Larger plants and shrubs are $5 each. We will also have lots of raffle items in the museum.

DEAR SUN SPOTS: The Rumford Hospital Auxiliary is seeking items for its annual yard sale Saturday, May 17. Indoor and outdoor furniture, household items, tools, books and puzzles are always popular items.

We are unable to accept large appliances or clothing. This is a great time to clean out your garage and attic and help support our worthy cause to raise money for much-needed hospital equipment.
