NAPLES — The Lake Region Community Chorus will be presenting its tenth annual Spring Concert, “Moon River,” which will take place in the Lake Region High School auditorium. The school is located at 1877 Roosevelt Trail (Rt. 302) in Naples. The concerts are scheduled for Friday, May 23, at 7 p.m. and Sunday, May 25, at 3 p.m. This dynamic choral group is made up of fifty singers from twelve surrounding towns.
The concert will feature a joyous celebration of pieces of many styles that will honor the Tenth Anniversary of this wonderful choral organization. The singing will be enhanced with instrumental accompaniments by Rusty Wiltjer, percussion, Pam Ward and Brian Sprunger, guitar, Adam Quincy, trumpet, Glen Jukkola, violin, and Jacob Kuvaja, electric bass.
The LRCC is directed by Jan Jukkola and Susan Stockwell and accompanied by Patrick Speckamp. The chorus would like to thank Bridgton Academy for all their help and support, as well as Saphrona Stetson and Greg Watkins for all their help at LRHS. The LRCC would also like to thank their enthusiastic audiences and local sponsors. Donations to help cover music and operating costs will be graciously accepted.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way.
