Alex Dougherty scored six touchdowns, and second-seeded Telstar rolled to a 60-30 victory over third-seeded Sacopee Valley in an eight-man Small School South football semifinal Saturday in Bethel.

Telstar (6-2) advances to face No. 1 Old Orchard Beach in the regional final on Friday.

Dougherty scored on a pair of 50-yard runs in the first quarter, then took a screen pass from Bryson Walker 55 yards for a TD and added a 35-yard scoring run in the second quarter. His final touchdown was a 20-yard run in the third.

Brennan Walker added touchdown runs of 35 and 6 yards, while Bryson Walker had a 35-yard TD run.

Maxwell Tripp had three rushing touchdowns for Sacopee Valley (4-5).

MONMOUTH ACADEMY 5, BUCKFIELD 0: The top-seeded Mustangs (14-1-1) clinched a spot in the Class D South championship game by scoring four second-half goals to top the fourth-seeded Bucks (8-7-1) in Monmouth.

Zane Foyt (two goals, assist), Vasili Bendo (goal, assist), Bryce Fletcher (goal, assist) and Rory Foyt (goal) scored for Monmouth. Tyson Bryant and Max Robitaille each had an assist.

The Mustangs will play defending state champion Richmond at 5 p.m. Tuesday at Cony High School in Augusta. Richmond, the No. 7 seed, advanced with a 5-0 win over Woodland.

Neil Haylock made 25 saves for Buckfield.

MT. ABRAM 4, TRAIP ACADEMY 3: Owen Cook made a save on a penalty kick in the final minute of regulation and Brennan Mitchell hammered in a corner kick by Chase Ross to lift the Roadrunners (11-3-2) past the Rangers (13-3-1) in a Class C South quarterfinal in Salem.

No. 2 Mt. Abram advances to play No. 1 Hall-Dale in the regional final at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at Edward Little High School in Auburn.

Jack Kern scored early in the game to give Traip a 1-0 lead. Will Swain tied it for Mt. Abram about four minutes later, and the Roadrunners took the lead on goals by Killian Pillsbury and Mitchell. Kern scored again late in the first half and Tyzo Diallo tied it with eight minutes left in the second half.

Ovi Kern made five saves for Traip, while Cook had 12 saves for Mt. Abram.

GIRLS SOCCER

MT. ABRAM 2, NORTH YARMOUTH ACADEMY 1: Evelyn Pepin scored two goals to lead the third-seeded Roadrunners (13-2-1) past the defending state champion Panthers (12-4) in a Class C South semifinal in Yarmouth.

Abby McCarty and Jenna Osgood each had an assist for Mt. Abram, which will face No. 1 Maranacook at 4 p.m. Tuesday at Edward Little High School.
