Meghan Przbilla had three assists to help the University of Southern Maine win its fourth straight Little East Conference women’s soccer title with a 3-0 victory over Western Connecticut on Saturday in Gorham.
The third-seeded Huskies (11-10-2) earned the conference’s automatic bid to the NCAA Division III tournament. The bracket will be announced at 11 a.m. Monday.
Southern Maine took 1-0 lead when Makyla Magid scored in the 35th minute. Madi Sainis and Lexi Morin scored in the second half.
Madi Cook stopped three shots for Southern Maine, while Gracen Regan had eight saves for Western Connecticut.
