Cony/Monmouth/Erskine/Mt. Blue/Hall-Dale/ Maranacook/Spruce Mountain/Winthrop: The Rams are coming off a 15-5 season, which included an appearance in the Class B North semifinal. The Cony co-op has a few Monmouth Academy seniors who should play pivotal roles this winter: forwards Spencer Morgan (13 goals, eight assists for St. Dom’s last season) and Kyle Lepage (10 goals, five assists), and point-producing defenseman Gabe Godbout (3 goals, 11 assists).
Edward Little: The Red Eddies have some solid players back after finishing 6-11 last season. Isaac Jalbert (eight goals, nine assists) and Breccan Albert (eight goals, eight assists) will lead the offense, while Cam Roy (seven assists) and Cole Levesque (three assists) are solid defensemen. Caden Westhoven (6-10, 3.71 GAA and .799 save percentage) provides experience in goal.
Fryeburg/Lake Region/Oxford Hills/Mountain Valley: Gunner Truman of Oxford Hills (11 goals, 19 assists last season) returns as an offensive catalyst for the Ice Cats, who are coming off a 4-14 season. Garrett Wooster, also of Oxford Hills, is a veteran defenseman, who had a goal and three assists last season. Mountain Valley freshman Freddie Hood is one of 14 newcomers.
Lewiston/Mt. Ararat/Lisbon/Morse: The Blue Devils are in a co-op with Mt. Ararat/Lisbon/Morse for the first time. Lewiston finished 14-6 and reached the Class A state semifinals last season. The offense will likely run through Aizyk Laliberte, who had 29 goals and 13 assists for Lewiston last season, and Jacoby Oliveria (four goals, seven assists) is an experienced defenseman. Lisbon’s Parker Crafts was the Mt. Ararat co-op’s leading scorer last season (three goals, 15 assists) before its season was shut down because of a hazing investigation.
Poland/Leavitt/Oak Hill/Gray-New Gloucester: The Kings are coming off an 11-9 season and a berth in the Class B South semifinals. This year’s squad features two solid goaltenders — Reid Trepaney (7-7, 2.58 goals-against-average and a .877 save percentage) and Taylor Brann (3-2, 2.35 goals-against-average, .881 save percentage). Tyler Mates (seven goals, five assists) is the team’s leading returning scorer. Coach Jason Rouleau expects Everett Michaud, Peter Lacombe and Nathan Karkos to lead the defense.
