Winthrop pulled away early and rolled to a 60-19 victory over Lisbon in a Mountain Valley Conference girls basketball game Monday in Lisbon.

Kylee Mansir poured in 19 points for the Ramblers (3-1), who led 14-2 after one quarter. Kylee Savage added 17 points and Evelyn Mortimer contributed 10.

Liz Ferero led the Greyhounds (2-2) with 10 points.

MADISON 53, DIRIGO 42: Leah Harper paced the Bulldogs (1-3) with 17 points in a win over the Cougars (2-1) in Madison.

Dakota Estes chipped in 10 points.

Dirigo’s Abby Luczynski scored 21 points, and Emma Witas added 10.

MARANACOOK 29, MT. ABRAM 23: Celia Bergdahl recorded 21 points and 10 rebounds as the Black Bears (4-0) remained unbeaten by downing the Roadrunners (2-2) in a low-scoring contest in Salem Township.

Bergdahl scored all 16 of Maranacook’s second-half points, and the Black Bears limited Mt. Abram to five points after halftime.

Abigail McCarty and Stella Peterson were the Roadrunners’ top scorers with six points apiece.

SPRUCE MOUNTAIN 78, HALL-DALE 15: Natasha McDonald scored 32 points for the Phoenix (3-0) in their victory over the Bulldogs (0-3) in Jay.

McDonald made six 3-pointers. Lily Bellerose, who hit four 3s, dropped in 18 points for Spruce Mountain.

Sierra Gibbons scored 11 points for Hall-Dale.

MORSE 55, MOUNTAIN VALLEY 11: Molly Cosgrove scored 21 points and the Shipbuilders (1-3) held the Falcons (0-4) scoreless in the first and third quarters in Bath.

Reese Darling added eight points and Lily Caron finished with seven for Morse, which led 16-0 after one quarter and 42-7 after the third.

Madison Blanchard and Chloe Brown each scored five points for Mountain Valley.

BOYS BASKETBALL

LISBON 63, WINTHROP 62: Owen Hurd scored 27 points for the Greyhounds (3-1) in an overtime victory over the Ramblers (2-2) in Winthrop.

Jaxon Roy-Thompson hit four 3-pointers added 22 points.

Korbin Littler led Winthrop with 21 points, while Graham Huri dropped in 20 and Joshua Foster scored 11.

GIRLS HOCKEY

BRUNSWICK 9, LEWISTON CO-OP 4: The Dragons (5-2) erupted for five goals in the second period on their way to a victory over the Blue Devils (0-7) at Sid Watson Arena in Brunswick.

Solveig Ledwick recorded a hat trick for Brunswick. Delia Vital scored twice and notched three assists, Natalie Perham scored once and finished with five assists, and Gillian Countway added a goal and three assists. Quinn McCormack and Citlali Saavedra Estrada also scored.

Emma Berube’s two goals led Lewiston/Oak Hill/Mt. Ararat/Lisbon/Morse/Monmouth. Lexus Keene contributed a goal and an assist, and Crew Langley potted a goal.

Brunswick goalie Hensleigh Labonte stopped 13 shots. Lewiston’s Kaydance Jolin recorded 24 saves.
