COACH OF THE YEAR
Ginger Ivanov, Freeport: After falling to Greely by a point at last year’s Class B championship meet, Ivanov’s Falcons broke through to claim the first state title in program history. Ivanov built a deep Freeport team that got points from 10 athletes at states to beat Yarmouth by 13 1/4 points. The Falcons and Clippers split the WMC title.
