Freshman Julia Paradis homered and drove in three runs, and her sister, Phoebe, had two triples and three RBI to lead Poland to a 10-7 win over Lake Region in a softball season opener Thursday in Poland.
Karlee Lothrop also drove in three runs with two hits and pitched a complete game (six strikeouts) for Poland.
Ella Gibbons and Addelyn Wilson each had three hits and drove in three runs for Lake Region.
